- open rating tournament with rating for ELO FIDE
- participation - players without age and performance limitation
- Swiss system of 7 rounds, 2 x 1,5h + 30s / move
- financial prizes in CZK (payment in EUR possible): 4 000, 3 000, 2 000 and 1 000 (10 000 CZK altogether)

B) 2.-3.5. 2009 23rd Znojemska kralovna („The Znojmo Queen“) – Open Women`s Czech Championship in Active Chess

- financial prizes in CZK: 5 000, 3 000, 2 000, 1 000, 700, 500, best women player with ELO 1800-1945 - 500, 1550-1799 - 400, 1250-1549 - 300 and up to 1250 - 100 (13 500 CZK altogether)

D) 1.5. 2009 Ing. Turek’s Memorial Competition – Open Local Championship of South Moravian Chess Federation in Active Chess for individuals

- financial prizes in CZK: 3 000, 2 000, 1 000, 500, 200, best players from the South Moravian Chess Association 700, 400, 200 (8 000 CZK altogether, concurrence of prizes possible)
- material prizes for other players, women, seniors over 60 years of age and youngsters up to 16 years of age

Criteria used for ranking and prizes distribution
Tournaments A,B,C,D,E - 1. number of points, 2. Buchholz, 3. middle Buchholz, 4. average ELO of rivals, 5. lot, in A tournament financial prizes are distributed according to Hort system among best 4 players, in other tournaments financial prizes are not divided

Possibility of spending free time
Znojmo is a royal town with nearly 40.000 inhabitants and a lot of historical and artistic sights. Its historical centre is urban conservation area. The Znojmo town is situated in the wine-growing area near the national park of Podyji, there are a lot of opportunities of hiking and cycling, there are a lot of castles in the surroundings of the town.
Starting fee and accommodation payments
will be collected during the registration in cash in EUR (at the amount given in these regulations), CZK (in the rate 25:1 compared to prices given in these regulations) or USD or by debit and credit cards: Eurocard/Master Card, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron, JCB or Diners Club.

- prize fund of the whole CZECH TOUR 2009/10 Series is 25 000 CZK (7000, 5000, 3000, 2000, 1000, 1000, 500, 500, best seniors from 60 years of age onwards - 2000, 1000, 1000, 500, 500), prizes can be obtained in the form of bonus in the next year of series only, criteria used for ranking: the highest total of points gained in individual tournaments (results from all tournaments for individuals played with rating min. 2 x 1,5h + 30s/move are counted), best place in one of included tournaments, lot
- 5% discount on accommodation price and starting fee in 2nd start in the tournament held within the frame of this year CZECH TOUR Series, or 10% in 3rd start, 15% in 4th start etc. (only starts from all tournaments for individuals played with rating min. 2 x 1,5h + 30s/move are counted)
