A) 4th – 13th September 2020 Open tournament with IM norm and rating for FIDE
- participation of players with ELO FIDE >= 2000
- Swiss system of 9 rounds, 2x 1,5 h + 30 s/move
- waiting time 1 h in case of late arrival
- financial prizes in the total amount of 10 200 BGN (ca. 5 200 EUR): 2 000, 1 600, 1 200, 900, 800, 700, prizes for the best players with ELO FIDE <= 2200: 800, 700, 600, 400, 300, 200
- the prizes are guaranteed if there are at least 80 players in this group
- starting fee in EUR:

- financial prizes in the total amount of 4 500 BGN (ca.2 300 EUR): 800, 700, 600, 400, 300, 200, prizes for the best players with ELO FIDE <= 1800: 400, 350, 300, 200, 150, 100
- the prizes are guaranteed if there are at least 80 players in this group
- starting fee in EUR:

- 2-bed rooms with a shower and WC, two-star hotel facilities price including breakfast 38 EUR/room and night, if only 1 person occupies the room, 27 EUR/room and night is charged
Board-meals at the Continental Park hotel: lunches (smorgasbord) per 9 EUR

All foreign players must have an assigned FIDE identification number (abbreviation FIDE ID or FID) at the time of the submission of the application form. If they do not have it, they have to apply their national chess federation for it.
